Verses 32-35Verses 27-31

Here the word is on the expressiveness and significance of the Glorious Qurän, in which God has struck many similitude for His servant, by which they may take admonition and useful lessons.

Qurän has been revealed in Arabic which is a perfect language and very flexible too. The language is a very suitable vehicle to carry sublime truths, and spiritual facts.

Many a time Qurän brings parables to illustrate a moral or a spiritual truth. The object of these parables is generally to teach lessons of spiritual wisdom.

In the above passage by an analogy of two men the weak points of polytheism against the advantages of Monotheise have been illustrated.

In the parable a poor slave is wandering among the orders of several slave-masters who share him. His masters wrangle with one another about him. One of them says he must do this, and the other says he has to do that! The poor slave suffers, for not knowing which way to go, and what thing to do! Meanwhile there is another servant who serves a Merciful, Compassionate Lord, who cares much for him. So the servant can concentrate his attention to obtain the consent and pleasure of his Unique and Graceful Lord. No one has any doubt, the servant with only one master, will live a happier life than the second slave; because too many cooks will spoil the broth.

Finally the argument goes on the death of our prophet:-

``O, Mohammad! You will die and they too will die, and in the Resurrection Day you shall wrangle in the presence of your Lord.''

Historians have written that, at the death-bed of our prophet a great many of Moslems, very anxious, had gathered to gather at his door. When the Messenger of God passed away, Omar came out shouting loudly that, the prophet never dies! He has ascended to the heavens and he will soon return back! Soon after him, ABUBAKR came out and blamed Omar saying:-

``Stop that non-sense of yours! What are you driving at!?''

Then Abubakr addresssed the weeping multitude of people, and said:- ``He who worships Mohammad, should known that he is dead. But he who worships God, the Lord of Mohammad, let him be sure that Allah will never die, and he may continue worshipping God.''

Here is another wonderful prediction of Qurän. Our prophet was always exposed to the danger of being killed, but Qurän foretold that he would die a natural death and he did so!
