The Explanation of Verses:The Explanation of the Verses

These are five attributes of deeds and they are related to the (final) accounting and punishment. They warn us to keep control regarding sins and do not overlook or neglect our responsibilities plus not to usurp the right of others. Always be attentive to God in wealth as if you stand in His presence for He is the one who will take your account and punish or reward you and His punishment is severe.

These qualities are mentioned in the Qura’n so now we turn to the verses:

Verse 6 of Surah Nisaa:

God Suffices as a Reckoner.(1)

Verse 202 of Surah Baqarah:

God is quick in reckoning(2)

Verse 62 of Surah Anam

He is the swiftest to reckon(3)

Verse 165 of Surah Anam

The lord is quick in the requital of evil and yet is oft-forgiving and most merciful(4)

Verse 196 of Surah Baqarah

Know that God is severe in requiting evil.(5)
