I have been informed that you are about to travel to the Vatican for a meeting with his Excellency the Pope, so I deemed it necessary to make a few points in this regard:
We believe that Allah the Almighty will not let the taking of such innocent lives, including the lives of the innocent people who have been martyred in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Syrian, and the other Islamic countries, go unpunished.
Once again a large number of innocent people were brutally killed in a terrorist attack on a Shi’a mosque in Pakistan, leaving all the Shi’as and other free-spirited people around the world heartbroken.
As well as denouncing these violent crimes and expressing my sympathy with all the victims, I admire the valiant efforts of the fearless Palestinian fighters.

The US administration’s recent decision to recognize Jerusalem Al Quds as the capital of Israel is a violation of the UN Security Council resolutions and a violation of all international laws about the Palestinian city. His decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem Al Quds in six months will cause tremendous and worldwide hatred against the US; all the Muslims of the world and many free-spirited nations and politicians have strongly condemned the decision.
Indeed holding such workshops, with such supreme goals, in the present time and in the place where it is to be held, is considered an invaluable cultural undertaking. Certainly, such undertakings can have a substantial role in the promotion of the School of the Ahl-al-Bayt (ʿa).
The ignominious defeat and downfall of the self-proclaimed Daesh state was an edifying lesson to those who are busy conspiring against the Muslim world and who recruit and send mercenaries from all around the world to destabilize and break up various Muslim countries.We extend our congratulations to the entire world for the downfall of the rootless Daesh state.
Indeed, our people will be even more determined in the fight against the Takfīrī terrorists, and they will not rest until all of these atrocious Takfīrī groups are obliterated from the face of the earth
The rulers of Bahrain have caused a new tragedy, out of their blind allegiance to Saudi Arabia and the United States, by their cowardly raid on the house of the great cleric and scholar, Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Ghāsim. In this raid, they have kidnapped the great Shia cleric, and killed, wounded, and arrested a large number of innocent people. By so doing, the rulers of Bahrain have indeed added another dark page to their dark history, and planted the seeds of hatred and animosity all throughout that country.
I condole with the great Egyptian Nation and I pray to Allah the Almighty to grant the bereaved patience and fortitude, and the wounded the restoration of their health.
Certainly, this tragedy was such a disgrace and shame for the Saudis, who are responsible for protecting the lives of the Hajj pilgrims, that they can never get rid of it.
The office of Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi hereby announces that his eminence has sent no one to establish his Bithah for this year"s Hajj pilgrimage from Iraq and any such news is completely false. Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi will have not have any representatives, whether from Iraq or Iran, to establish his Bi‘thah during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
I ask you and your friends to end your hunger strike as we are worried for your health/we also ask the Pakistani government to properly respond to your demands and to those of the other Pakistani Muslims, as they are legitimate and reasonable demands.
We do commend and admire the deep understanding of the realities of the Muslim world and the astuteness of the Shaykh of al-Azhar. We also stress the fact that not only does this fatwa prevent the massacre of the innocent Muslims, but it will also be a hindrance to the Islamophobia which is being promoted by the westerners, who are either unaware of the reality of Islam or are enemies of Islam.
Expressing his gratitude to all the people due to their vast participation in the Quds Day rallies, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi stated: “Our people proved today as they always do that they are loyal to the values of Islam and those of the Islamic revolution”.
The Bahraini authorities, who lack proper wisdom and understanding, have now thrown themselves in to a dangerous situation whereby they will have more afflictions coming to their way every day
