VERSE NO. 61

This verse signifies that Allah has a supreme and unquestionable power over His servants and that He sets guardians over them on watch!

Here by GUARDIAN, the guardian angels are meant, as it is mentioned in a more detail in QURطN - S 82: 10- 13:

``Over you are appointed Guardian angels as watchers- They are honorable scribes who write down your deeds, They know whatever you do.''

Some commentators hold that, these angels that are refered to in this verse, (No. 61) are not those scribes and writers whose duty is to make a record of our deeds, good or bad; but these are another class or group of angels who are set upon us, same as the body guards! Their duty is to protect us from hazards and immature death when our appointed term of life is not finished.

Of course these guardian angels have no right or authority to interfere or act reciprocally with Man's Free Will. Through these Guardian Angels, our Merciful Lord guards us, and protects us against various dangers, and provides all kinds of needed helps and emergency needs physical or spiritual, in order to help our growth and development.
