Verse 108VERSE NO. 105

VERSES NO. 106 - 107

Here the duty of the prophet is described and specified in spite of all the enmities, and obstinacies, of the oppositions and objectors:

``Follow that which is inspired to you from your Lord, and turn away from the polytheists.''

Once again stress is put on this fact that God does not want to force a man against his Free Will to do something, or to believe in something. Some of the critics and objectors did say and will say: ``If Allah is All-might why does then evil and devil exist? Can He not destroy them?'' The answer is: ``He can do that easily, but His plan is not against the Free Will and in favour of Force- majeure in this respect. He does not want to force anyone to accept the truth or to do anything special. If so, the good deeds could not be counted as virtue, and evil deeds as fault and sin; and rewards or punishments could not be reckoned as justice!'' In fact truth is something to be known and apprehended. It is not something to be injected in the veins of man: ``And if Allah had willed, they would not have been polytheist.''
