Verses 23-25Verses 20-22

Now we have come to a few very important verses that attract the attentions, to the proofs of the Oneness of God, and His clear and manifest signs. These verses begin with the phrase:- ``And of His signs....'' and all of them have a special kind of melody, and a sweet and agreeable succession of sound, and arrangement of meanings. These make a passage of seven verses here, six of which are in succession. There are four others of them in other chapters of Qurän; (S 41:37ِ39 and S 42:29ِ32), which begin with the same phrase.

In the first of the above group of verses, the immediate reference is to the creation of Man which is of dust!:-

``And of His signs is that, He created you out of dust, and then you became scattered mankind.''

Here two main points have been referred to:- 1) Creation of Man from dust. 2) Multiplication and scattering of Man's offsprings all round the Globe.

How can we compare dust with such a fineness and complexity of our creation which is so wonderful?

Man, the creature of dust, should not look only at his body which has a lowly origin, though not less amazing. He rather should consider his mind and soul, and his faculty of learning and understanding, which is deposited in him by which he can reach a position that only God can know and evaluate it.

Dust is void of light, heat, beauty, sense, movement, love, thought, and understanding. Therefore, man who is so wonderful a creature; what relation can he have with a dead element?

Then the reference is made to the differences of sexes and the bond of marriage between man and woman, which Qurän has called it a means of comfort for both sexes that implies the imparting of cheer, hope, and strength, and even the cause of lessening pain:-

``And of His signs is that He created for you spouses of yourselves, so as to have comfort in her.''

The mystery of sex is also a very wonderful matter. The union of male and female, and the love and mercy that appears between them as a strong tie to attach them to a moral and legal obligation. Then the mother brings forth the children, and the role of the father is no less important in this connection. Then rest, comfort, and tranquillity, lays in the sacred bond of marriage, or, at least it should be found there with the spouses. This comfort comes because men and women are two different creatures with their own nature, but they are the complementary of one another, and together will make a perfect creature that is called a human being. This is because they mutually supply each other's lack.

The third verse above points at the variation of languages and colours of Man. A man may know another man either by his eyes or ears. The medium for knowing by the eye is the colour, and that for the ear is the voices or words. We cannot find any two persons to be exactly the same, and a hundred percent similar to one another; either in their countenance and voice. Differences among individuals is a means for recognizing one another which is something very essential in man's social life.

In spite of all the differences, all the men and women, have their root in the same father and mother; but have scattered here and there, all round the Globe, which has various climates and conditions, and accordingly Man has developed different languages and colours, to suit their needs. Whatever of colour and language that they may have they are still mankind. The variances in race, tribe, class, language and colour are only means to facilitate knowing each other, and addressing one another more easily.

Therefore all the above mentioned differences have been made on purpose, and with certain aims, which the All-knowing Creator follows through His general plan; and all are based on knowledge and wisdom.

It is cited in the FARID VAJDI ENCYCLOPEDIA, VOL. 1ِPAGE 496 that; Sir Isaac Newton the famous scholar has said:-

``Never you doubt about the Lord God, and Creator of the universe, because it is not wise of MAn to think that the blind necessity, and unintelligent cause and effect, is the mother of invention, and are the leading and guiding power of creation. How can the blind, and uniform nature or cause and effect issue so many wonderful varieties with all that order, unity of purpose, and plan, and their strange co-ordination with one another. All these strange phenomena must have a source, with the highest of will, knowledge, and wisdom.''
