Here is a brief reference to the story of Moses and Aaron, and a part of God's Grace and Mercy that was bestowed on them.
More detail of this attractive story is found in the S. 28, and many other places of Qurän. In this episode, the immediate reference is to their great grief and painful life that they were held in slavery by Pharaoh and his Egyptian people:-
``And We bestowed great favour on Moses and Aaron, and delivered them and their people from a great grief.''
The greatest cause of their grief was their slavery, and the bondage of continued and wearisome labour for Egyptions. God helped them and made them triumphant over their enemies, who were drowned in the Nile.
In the above passage God's favour to Moses and the children of Israel is illustrated in 6 stages which follows:-
1) Moses and Aaron and the Israelites were delivered from their great misfortune and grief.
2) God helped them that they became triumphant over their enemies, by drowning them in the Nile.
3) They were given a perspicuous book.
NOTE:- The Arabic ``MOSTABIN'' translated to, ``Enlightener'' means something perspicuous which is clear itself, and also clarifies other things; and by that, here, the ``BIBLE'' is meant.
4) They were guided to the straight path of truth.
5) Their good fame remained behind them.
6) And through God's Grace of Salutation they were physically and spiritually held in safety and security.
And so does Allah reward all the righteous.
