Verses 4-5Verses 1-3

The first verse of this chapter (Sِ39) implies that the main source of this revelation (i.e. QURÄN) is Only Allah. To support this implication, two reasons have been included in the verse which follows:-

1- Allah is All power and Exalted in might, and can easily carry out His Will.

This idea has been proved in the case of Qurän, throughout the past fifteen centuries of Islam's history. In spite of all kinds of oppositions and fierce enmities against the spread of the religion of truth, Qurän has paved his way throughout the worldِamong all kinds of man, and all colours of people. Now we see the dominion of Qurän established in all points of the globe.

2- And secondly, the verse implies that God the All-mighty is also Extremely Wise, and His Book too must be full of wisdomِa qualification for Qurän which is self-evident.

In the second verse a second quality has been attributed to Qurän:-

``We have sent down to you the Book in TRUTH.'' Now, TRUTHFULNESS is a fact proves, and an inevitable part of Qurän. No one has ever been able to prove anything wrong or false in this book of Wisdom scientifically, or logically. This is because nothing except truth can be found in Qurän.

The third verse strictly enjoins Monotheism and the oneness of God, in all aspects and respects; and particularly in our religion and worship:-

``Be aware that for Allah is Pure religion.''

In other word, worship is due to no one except Allah, the Creator of all creatures; and it must be pure, exclusive, and sincere.

The worshippers of idols and false gods, may say that they serve their invented deities, in order to bring them nearer to God. This however is a childish reason, and an excuse worse than the sin itself. Such perversions from the right way will raise endless disputes, that, eventually Allah will have to judge that in the Resurrection Day. As a matter of fact the disputers have put themselves on such a wrong way that they can get no guidance in it.

The word religion here implies a wider meaning which includes all sorts of worship and services to God. Such services must all be pure, and for the sake of God, if Allah is to accept:-

Once a man asked our prophet saying:-

``We pay alms to some poor and needy, while a part of our charity is for the sake of God, and a part of it is to earn respect and reputation among people. Is our services accepted by God?''

The answer was, ``NO''. God accepts nothing unless it be pure and sincerely for Him - be aware that for Allah is pure religion, and nothing is to be mingled with our worship or intention of giving a service to God.
