The last verse in the 5th group speaks about those who do not deserve the salvation because of their deeds. This means that intercession will depend on some others. The verse says:
“There shall be no friends for the unjust no intercessor to prevail.”
So the others other than the unjust have the capacity to benefit from intercession.
Whom do you mean by “Zalimun”? Some commentators have construed it to mean the pagans and the disbelievers. And Tabrisi says in Majmaul Bayan; “the greatest sins are polytheism and hypocrisy.”(1) Fakhruddin Razi too has said that the word “Zalimun” in this instance means the disbelievers (2)
The verses that have come earlier and the beginning of this verse warn the people of the Day of Judgment and the verses revealed later describe the conditions of those who suffered the punishments from God in the earlier times. They have all been depicted as lesson and are the proof of this contention.
Tafsir Ruhul Bayan, Ruhul Ma’ani and Maraghi have all confirmed this meaning. The negation of salvation for the unjust (in any manner) is also the proof of the salvation of others and we have pointed out repeatedly
That salvation cannot take place without accounting of deeds and it needs certain talents and capacities. There are two groups of sinners the first will merit salvation and the second will not.
