Resurrection in the pre-historic timesThe Belief in resurrection in various eras

From whatever has been said in the above verses and also in other verses of the Qura’n we learn that the belief on the Day of Judgment existed from time in memorial when man had first put his foot on earth. All the Apostles of god invited people to this issue and this is against the ideas of the ignorant who suppose that the people have begun believing on the Day of Reckoning only in recent times.

We learn from various verses of the Qura’n that God will establish his arguments and proofs on that day against the criminals. The verse 130 of Surah Anam says:

“O assembly of Jinns and humans! Did not prophets come to you from among you relating My signs, and warning you about your meeting on that Day?”

This verse clearly states that through out history the apostles of God warned the people about the resurrection and asked them to believe in it.

The same meaning is there in verse 71 of Surah Zumur, when the keepers of Hell spoke to the residents there:

“The Keepers of Hell shall say to them, “Did Messengers from among you not come to you to recite the signs of the Lord and warn you about the meeting of this Day of yours?”

The residents of hell accept this to be true and say, “Yes indeed”.

Qura’n states that the issue of resurrection is so important that it has always been on top of the Agenda of all Apostles of God and has been discussed since the time of Adam. In every age and era the Apostles of God have warned the people about it and all nations were aware of it. Let us now study the proofs in history and those identified by the Ulema.
