Why fear death?The Conclusion

All that has been said in the above verses of the Qura’n with due authority can be proven logically (except the unseen worlds because we have no access to them and the Qura’n has not revealed them to us).

There is no doubt that there is a great difference between the belief of those who believe in resurrection and those worldly people. These ideas affect humans individually and collectively and distinguish between the behaviors of both these groups.

The Materialists consider death to be a world of darkness, a world that destroys everything. Death to them is the termination of all their efforts, struggles, desires and wishes. It is not surprising that the materialist person trembles at the mere mention of death and this idea has robbed the sweetness of life and made it a cup of poison for them.

It is not surprising that they do not resort to charity without individual or collective pressure since charity is something that has no equal or in other words anything that can have the same goal as charity.

It is not surprising that consider life to be frivolous and meaningless.

Because if death is the termination of everything then life is full of repetitive actions like eating, drinking, dressing and it cannot sate a person as something with greater ideals. So some people resort to suicide and consider this to be the correct termination of a meaningless life. They consider it to be logically and mentally sound and they consider living as a foolish act full of shame.

But those who believe in resurrection and the divine commands look at it as something similar to the birth of an infant from a mother’s womb.

The infant dies or forfeits the life in the mother’s womb but right at that moment he enters a world which is far greater the world of the mother’s womb.

If the infant knew about the place he would be entering then he would count every moment before his birth and would never let despair and fear come close to him. He would never consider his birth in this new world as some frivolous and would never hesitate to give sacrifice for it.

In short the doorway to the world of eternal living gives a new meaning to life, a new perspective that touches the heart and rids him of such ideas as wandering, surprise, the feel of being insignificant, and ideas which create mortal pain.
