Verses 11-14Verses 7-10

I AM NOT INNOVATING THE PROPHETHOOD
VERSE NO.7-10
The argument is still going on about the polytheists and their manner of denying the clear truth, and calling it as sorcery:-
``When our clear signs are rehearsed to them, the unbelievers said about the truth that came to them:- ``This is only a plain sorcery-and that he has forged it and ascribed it to God!''
Here, by the, ``TRUTH'', QurÌn is meant.
If the unbelievers could think a little while, they would soon come to this conclusion that, God would never reveal such an important and clear sign as QurÌn is, an everlasting miracle, to a liar and faithless man.
In the said QurÌn which is truth, we read (S-69:44-46):-
``And if he (i.e. Mohammad) was to invent in our name some sayings, We would seize him by his right hand. and then We would cut off the artery of his heart, and then none of you could withhold him from our wrath and seizure.''

God knows best what are the various people driving at, and what their aim and object in their endeavour is. If someone forges something himself and ascribes it to God, how can he rely to Allah and seriously insist upon his assertion, unless we think that Allah cannot see him and understand his forgeries and falsehood! Or that God has no power to catch and stop him! After all; something that is going to be ascribed to Allah, must indeed be very great a thing to fit its Divine Position; and such is not in the power of a faithless liar to create, that a liar always comes to an evil end.
This is why Mohammad our holy prophet honestly declared his Divine Mission with which God had inspired him. He bravely announced his mission, and with a calm insight insisted upon his assertion to the last minute of his worldly life. He said:-
``God knows everything, and He is sufficient for a witness that I am His truthful Messenger, and my duty is only to convey God's Message to all mankind.''

After all, what was his forgeries!? Like all the other prophets before him, he only taught the unity of God and enjoined mankind to do good to one another as a duty, because nothing but evil comes out of evil deeds.
Mohammad (SA) was not the first Messenger of God, nor the only one and neither the innovator of the prophethood! He conveyed his Message sincerely and now after 15 centuries we can plainly see his truthfulness throughout the world.
