verses 1verses 36-38

IF YOU LAY DOWN THE TRUTH, OTHERS WILL UPHOLD IT
VERSE NO.36-38
The ending of this chapter applies to the life of man, encouraging them to obey God, particularly when JIHAD is propounded. The verse implies that this present life is a temporary one, and its pleasures and enjoyments are fleeting, and the real life is to come after death:-
``The life of this world is only a play toy and amusement...''
Play toys and amusements are not so bad a thing as one may sometimes think; but we should not focus all our attention on them, that, the life to come is more serious than the present one, and we need to have a good preparation for the Hereafter.
Then there comes the next verse saying:-
``If He was to ask you to give some of your properties, you would be parsimonious and show your rancor.''
In return to God's so many wide variety of bounties and graces that has bestowed on man, He asks you not to leave aside a share of what you have received, or what you possess. This is because He knows well the people's avarice and inordinate desire for wealth. If a small sum of alms tax or other religious duties has been ordained; it is for the benefit of man's social life to help the poor and needy, or the orphan or wayfarer. A wide distinction between the poor and the rich is a dangerous matter and may turn to revolt and explode the society.
A progressive society demands for generosity and liberarity in spirit. Self-sacrifice is sometimes a must for the security and prosperity of a population. Then the individual should be willing to risk in the emergency cases, but in his strife he should aim to life and not to death:-
``He who said I am dying for you he lied; I say the truth, that I am living for you.''
As far as one is alive, he should place whatever he may have of power, faculty and wealth at disposal of the cause. If we leave alone the cause of truth, the truth will never yield to falsehood, and eventually success belongs to it, because Allah will assign a better class of people to uphold its banner.

``...And Allah is free of all wants, and all of you are poor. If you turn away, He may replace you with a people other than you, then they will not behave as you do.''
