WHOSE THE FIRE AND WATER IS?
VERSE NO. 68-74
These verses encounter the conscience of Mankind with a series of questions, so as to make them to confess and testify:
``This water that you always drink and enjoy, on which your life depends-how do you get it? Have you ever thought of it?''
Who commands the sun to move over the oceans, and vapourize the salty bitter water, so as to ascend up to the sky and then descend it in the form of sweet and wholesome water for you to drink? Did you send it down from the clouds? Or We are sending it.
In several verses, mention is made of the two parallel streams of waters-a salty bitter and sweet and wholesome-both flowing side by side, which they keep aloof of each other, and do not mingle!
The circle of water, leaving the sea for the sky in the form of vapour, and returning back to earth in the form of rain and snow, is a never-ending circuit and circulation which causes springs, streams, and rivers, to flow throughout the earth.
Then in the sequence of reasons, there comes the creation of Fire:-
``Have you ever thought of the fire that you kindle?''
In the Pagan Era, the Arabs made use of two kinds of trees that grew in their deserts to kindle a fire, instead of a flint or hard quartz which strikes fire with steel. These tree were named, ``MARKH'' and ``EFAR''. Two pieces of their wood, when collided hardly, would give out a spark enough to ignite and subject to a fire.
Here the word is not exclusively on how a fire is lit. The main object is the hidden energy which is released from the tree that is set on the fire; and other kinds of fuels which recently have changed the face of the world.
The Principle of conservative of Energy tells us that; the energy released in the form of heat by a fire side, is the energy that the log or tree, has taken from the sun and stored in itself throughout the years of its life.
In the past, wood was the only known fuel for kindling a fire. Even charcoal is made out of wood. Nowadays, other kinds of fuels such as gas and oil have been discovered and used. The Electric Energy has manifested itself in the form of miracle everywhere.
